Ms. Sauer concentrates her practice in the areas of business and corporate law, taxation, and banking law. Her transactional practice includes business sales and acquisitions, like-kind real estate exchanges, residential and commercial real estate transactions, bank acquisitions and regulatory matters, stock option agreements, employment agreements and advising for-profit corporations, not-for-profit institutions, partnerships and limited liability companies on tax structuring and business planning.

RRELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Lisa's experience includes the merger of two major not-for-profit institutions; the representation of community banks in regulatory matters with the Illinois Office of Banks and Real Estate; Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Federal Reserve Bank; the drafting of a private placement memorandum for an offshore insurance company; and the drafting of aircraft acquisition and management agreements.
